Payment Terms

As we are providing an information based service, payment is required prior to the inspection rather than after the inspection. This is our company policy due to a very small minority of clients failing to pay after the survey has been conducted once information has been provided.

All surveys are paid for in advance of the survey to secure a survey slot unless agreed upon at the time of booking. Payment for the survey is done via invoice where bank transfer details are provided. Once payment has been made a confirmation email of receipt of payment will be sent to you.

Cancellation Policy

Before booking a survey please read the following.

Once verbal and/or written instructions have been given to have a survey carried out by Damp Pro and a survey date has been agreed by all parties, payment of the damp and/or timber survey  will be due, at which point the following cancellation terms apply;

If you cancel the instruction by no later than 5.00pm two days before the proposed survey date, you will receive a full immediate refund minus an administration fee of £30.00.

Instructions cancelled after this date and before 5.00pm on the day before the survey date will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the total monies paid and here-to you will receive an immediate partial refund.

Instructions cancelled on the day of the proposed survey or if the survey cannot be carried out (due to, for example no access as previously arranged which was confirmed by others) you will be charged in full.

Cancellation days and times are normal business hours, Monday-Friday, 9.00 am-5.00 pm

Important Note: All Surveys are non-destructive/non-intrusive unless agreed upon in writing prior to our inspection.
